Another Day, Another Story

For most people, I am pretty sure that they do not think their life is super exciting. Whether it includes something mundane like walking to a class, going grocery shopping, or even just doing laundry. We generally feel like our lives are boring as we go through our day to day activities, but from an outside perspective, I bet it looks more exciting than you would think.

For me, I spend a lot of time by myself........and I don't know that most people would find that enjoyable. Whether jamming to music in my apartment, or my car, or finding any excuse to dance, I try to make the most of my day to day activities.

If someone was to take a peek into a normal Wednesday in my life right now, there are a few key points they might focus on. Those include: classes, choir, and swing. These are some of the highlights of my week.

Then we met up with some friends after production to go swing dancing! We met these friends in Provo last weekend and they drove all the way to Ephraim in the snow to hang out with us.

If you know me, you know that I love to dance, and swing is no exception. It is very rare that I am not dancing or moving to music. Swing has been one of my favorite activities since coming to Snow, and I have started doing it four times a week. (It may be a slight addiction, but dancing is actually a healthy thing).

That's right, 2 1/2 hours of dancing every Wednesday. I don't think you understand how happy it makes me. Anyway, swing consist of regular swing dancing, line dances, barn dances, cowboy cha-chas, 10 steps and even the 2 step. It also allows us to show off any cool dips or lifts we have learned.

To end the night, I was able to go on a drive with my friend to just talk and decompress after the stress of the last few weeks. When I tell you that time really flew by, I mean it. We were talking until five in the morning and I did not regret it at all.

If anything, this video pretty accurately describes what it is like to be me......and give you a glimpse of what my life is like.

P.S. In case you were curious, I really did go swing dancing four days in a row: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I have met so many amazing people at swing, and that has not stopped. I am so grateful for the friends I have met as swing. THEY ARE THE BEST!!! #countrydancing #countryswingdancing #countryswing
